Sewing Machine Melt down

My poor sewing machine, I think it is going to go into melt down mode. It got use again last night for the 2nd time in a matter of days, poor thing is not used to being turned on sew much!!!! I completed my March blocks for Applewood.com. I also completed February's blocks one night when I could not sleep as you do. I am enjoying this BOM even thought my pinwheel block has a lot of bias edges. @#$%@ bias edges, mine normally tend to walk and that is not nice.

My first big quilt I made had triangles with bias edges as the block were on point, oh I cried so much, asking myself why I bothered. Now here I am 5 years on still cursing edges with bias but not crying. I am a big girl now??

Retreat committe had a meeting yesterday and we are well on the way to our retreat in May, which I have been told by our friend Lissa that it is just over a month. No nail bitting for any of us, all is going well. Touch wood, we are getting there and then as they say the rest in the hand of the gods.

The renos are still underway, the wall is up, we now need base coat it, fill up the joins then we can get ready to paint. Then I can get my home back into order.
